Hello, I am Salan Katuwal a dedicated and hardworking individual, currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Information Technology (BSc CSIT) at the Central Campus of Technology. I am from Pathari Sanischare 08, Morang, Nepal, and I have a strong interest in technology and its applications.
My primary focus is on Django backend development, where I specialize in creating efficient, dynamic, database-driven and scalable web applications. I have experience working with Django’s MVT architecture, ORM, and integrating Bootstrap for responsive designs. My goal is to deliver solutions that are both functional and user-friendly.
Additionally, I am deeply interested in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Django Book Store Project
A professional web application developed using Django,
designed to facilitate efficient management of books in an
online store. Key features include the ability to add, update,
and delete books, view detailed book information, and browse
organized book listings presented with a clean, responsive
Bootstrap-styled interface. The application leverages a SQLite
database to securely store and manage book details, including
title, author, genre, price, and description.

Django Marksheet Project
A comprehensive web application developed using Django,
designed to efficiently manage and display real-world student
marksheets. This application empowers educators to input
detailed student information along with their respective
marks, automatically generating professional-grade marksheets.
Each marksheet provides an in-depth breakdown of individual
student performance, including subject-wise scores, total
marks, and overall academic evaluation, ensuring accuracy and
ease of use for academic institutions.

Django To-Do-List
This is a To-Do-List web application built with the Django
framework. The app allows users to create, update, and delete
tasks. Each task can be marked as complete or active. The app
is connected to a database to store tasks persistently.It is
designed to support multiple users, ensuring that each user
can only view and manage their own tasks. It includes features
like user authentication, task prioritization. The project is
built with Django's robust framework and styled using
Bootstrap for a clean and responsive interface.

Email/SMS Classifier
This project is a machine learning model designed to classify
emails and SMS messages as spam or legitimate. It utilizes the
Multinomial Naive Bayes (MultinomialNB) algorithm and has been
evaluated with impressive performance metrics, achieving an
accuracy of 97% and a perfect precision score of 1.0. The
model has been successfully deployed in a production
environment.

Car Price Prediction
It is a machine learning model which identifies the price of
the second hand car although it has been trained with data of
old cars and it was for my practice.
